Staying true to its grandeur history dating back to 1871, The Royal Mail Birregurra has gone through a couple of major renovations over each journey,  keeping the original façade and bringing the famous hotel back to life. Sporting two fireplaces, live Foxtel with 8 screens – showing what’s happening in the world of sports, full range of CUB beers, craft and local artisan beers. Room to move with dining tables, bar tables and benches surrounding the long bar. Outside, enjoy a courtyard with pool table, great dining areas, and festoon lighting to go long into the night.

Single Block D Pinot Noir, Bannockburn, Moorabool Valley, Geelong, Victoria
Grown on Clyde Park’s steep south facing slope, planted in 1998 this low yielding block was fermented with 60% whole bunches in 1/3 new French oak. The wine is powerful, complex with savoury meats and dark fruits. James Halliday 97 points.

Clyde Park Estate Rose, Bannockburn, Moorabool Valley, Geelong, Victoria
Grown across different blocks on site at Clyde Park. 50% was made by the traditional method of Saignee, these batches had between 2-6 hours of skin contact and were then fermented in older French oak. 80% Pinot Noir, 20% Shiraz.

The finest Wagyu bloodlines are combined with a carefully managed “conception to consumer” beef operation, Beefcorp Australia, to produce Fullblood Wagyu 100% and Japanese style Crossbred Wagyu x Holstein F1 50%. Timboon Ice Cream, Timboon
Timboon Fine Ice Cream was established in October 1999 by Tim Marwood and Caroline Simmons. Being a 3rd generation dairy farmer, Tim has a real connection to the land.

For the last 18 years Tim and Caroline have been making their famous ice cream on their property 7km from Timboon. Fresh milk comes from The Doolan’s family farm down the road and fresh cream from Camperdown Dairy. The ice cream has an unmistakeable creamy smoothness.

Adrian Tozer is the head chef and venue manager, priding himself on regional produce, old fashioned cooking. Prior to being at the Royal Mail, Adrian was the head chef at Clyde Park Vineyard + Bistro in Bannockburn.

Established in 1871, these days, The Royal Mail Hotel in Birregurra offers a charming blend of a country welcome with a regional menu, blended with classic pub meals, great cold beers and artisan craft beers, extensive wine list, proudly Victorian focused and fantastic staff.
